Italy's Government

Italy has a Parliamentary Democratic type of government. The current president of Italy is Sergio Mattarella. According to the 1948 constitution, Italy is divided to 20 regions. Italy’s political system is a multi party system. Their executive power is runned by the council of ministers which is led by the prime minister. The legal system of Italy is mostly based on the roman law And when it comes to their legislative power, it is headed by two houses of parliament. When it comes to minor legal matters they are brought to the pretori. There are 159 tribunals in their judicial system. While the constitution of Italy is enacted on December 22, 1947. The said constitution has been revised for 15 times. The government in Italy Is really interesting and their government is really strong.
